International A ''blow-up scenario'' for Geneva was quickly devised by American officials who feared early Thursday morning that the summit meeting might collapse at the final ceremony. ''We had a nightmare vision with world headlines saying, 'Summit Breaks Up Over Star Wars,' '' one official said. [Page 1, Column 1.] Terrorists seized an Egyptair jetliner carrying more than 100 people and forced it to land in Malta, where the Government radio station reported that five people had been killed. One American was reported injured. In Washington, a State Department spokesman said officials had received reports that the body of one person from the plane was at a Malta hospital. [1:3.] Many people trapped by mud in Armero, Colombia, last weekend died because of bungled rescue operations, according to frustrated volunteers. They said the rescue efforts were hampered by shortages of manpower, helicopters, expertise, medicine and such basics as shovels. [1:4.] A nine-stanza love lyric attributed in the manuscript copy to Shakespeare has been discovered in Oxford University's Bodleian Library by an American scholar. It appears to be the first addition to the canon of Shakespeare's works since the 17th century. It is untitled. [1:1.] Nelson Mandela was transferred from the South African hospital, where he was recovering from surgery, back to prison. The black nationalist leader is serving a life sentence for sabotage.
