REPORTERS AT POST BAR USE OF BYLINES

NY Post reporters on Feb 11 refuse to have their names printed above stories they wrote for paper, and say 'byline' strike will last 10 days; say that strike was agreed upon as matter of principle to protest cancellation by paper's publisher of consumer articles written by reporter Steve Lawrence about supermarkets; 5 such articles have already appeared in recent wks, and more were scheduled but were canceled; reporters hold that because of articles 1 supermarket chain had canceled some ad in Post and several others had threatened to do so; contend that editor-in-chief Dorothy Schiff told them at 2 meetings that newspaper could not afford to offend supermarket advertisers (S)
