Penny Tai (chiń. 戴佩妮; pinyin Dái Peìnī; ur. 22 kwietnia 1978 w Johorze) – malezyjska piosenkarka mandopopowa i autorka tekstów.
Penny Tai urodziła się w Malezji w rodzinie wywodzącej się z grupy etnicznej Hakka o chińskich korzeniach. Pierwsze piosenki zaczęła pisać w wieku 17 lat, startując w konkursie pisania piosenek Halo Song w Kuala Lumpur. W 1999 roku podpisała kontrakt z tajwańskim oddziałem EMI Music i przeprowadziła się do Tajwanu, by kontynuować karierę, jako piosenkarka i autorka tekstów. Swój pierwszy album Penny wydała w styczniu 2000 roku.
