CHICAGO, May 9 -- In opposition to news of a ecidedly bearish character, the market for wheat showed wonderful strength to-day. On the curb yesterday afternoon the reported revolution in Argentina had the effect of advancing prices, but at the opening to-day there was an easier feeling on the failure to confirm the rumors, combined with weak and lower English cables and fine weather.
